Return of the Ice Men -Yvon Chouinard and Jimmy Marsh An amazing evening for the last night of the Festival. Together for one night only - Yvon Chouinard, climber, surfer and founder of Patagonia clothing and Jimmy Marshall, Scottish climbing legend, discuss the evolution of climbing and their own amazing experiences.
Hosted by Dave MacLeod, one of the UK's best climbers, the evening is dedicated to the festival patron, Hamish MacInnes. Includes a rare showing of archive climbing film and Hamish joins the speakers on stage for a Q&A session with the audience. Allan Ellard, white-water expedition kayaker Eve
31-year-old Allan has been kayaking for 20 years, spending about 15 of those guiding and exploring on rivers around the world. Allan will share the thrill of adventure from past and recent journeys and try to shed light on the unseen nuts and bolts of how expeditions work. From the 'seat of your pants' penniless journeys to million-dollar epics, a river is a river and as Allan puts it "the pointy end of the stick is just as sharp".

Justine Curgenven & Patrick Winterton - sea kayaking
Intrepid sea kayaker and film-maker Justine Curgenven shares her stories of life on the high seas, along with incredible film footage and highlights from her latest work. Plus Patrick Winterton recounts adventures from his incredible 870-mile paddle from Glasgow to the most northerly point in the UK as part of his 'Scottish Extremities' unsupported kayaking expedition.

John Moffat - Scottish Six-Day Trials
A celebration of the longest-running motorsport competition in Scotland, where riders test themselves against the mountainous terrain of Lochaber on special trials motorbikes. John Moffat, of the Scottish Auto Cycle Union, has been closely involved with the sport for over 30 years. He traces the history of the event, with fantastic archive footage, before bringing us up to date with stories from recent trials. If you've never seen trials riders in action, this is the perfect chance to come along and find out more about this demanding skills sport.

Andrew Greig and Liz Duff - 'Kingdoms of Experience'
A personal take on the 1985 Everest North East Ridge Expedition Led by the much-missed, charismatic Mal Duff, this Everest 'Unclimbed Ridge' expedition has become historic as one of the last major siege-style assaults, done without sherpas. It was also only the second expedition into Tibet since the Chinese invasion. Joe Tasker and Pete Boardman disappeared on the first 'Unclimbed Ridge' attempt - the second was never going to be easy.
